Questions
What format are the images saved in?
Images keep the format they're stored in where possible, so photos usually come out as JPG and graphics as PNG.
Why are some images missing?
Only real embedded images can be extracted. Drawings made of lines and shapes aren't images. To capture those, use PDF to Image to save whole pages.
Is image quality reduced?
No. Images are saved as they are stored in the PDF, without re-compressing them.
