What happens to your file
Processed in memory. Sent back. Not kept.
Your file does travel to our server, because that is where the tools run. Here is exactly what happens to it.

- Processed in server memoryWord, Excel and PowerPoint conversion is the one exception: it uses a temporary file that is deleted the moment the conversion ends.
- Returned to youThe result goes straight back to your browser. We don't store it, and the processing server has no internet access.
What we never record
- Your files, file names or any text from them
- Accounts, tracking cookies or ads (there are none)
- Third-party scripts, fonts or trackers (there are none)

Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. Every tool works without signing up.
Is it really free?
Yes, today every tool is free, with no ads. There are no paid plans yet.
Is my file uploaded?
Yes. The tools run on our server, so your file is sent there over HTTPS, processed in memory and returned to you. We don't store it.
Are there limits?
Up to 50 MB per upload and 500 pages per document. A few tools have their own limits, which are listed on each tool's page.
