Questions
What does Document mode do?
It converts each photo to greyscale and stretches the contrast so paper looks whiter and text darker. Leave it off to keep colour.
How many pages can I scan?
Up to 100 photos at a time, 50 MB in total.
Will my phone photos be the right way up?
Yes. Photos are turned upright using the orientation saved in the photo.
Does it straighten or crop the page?
No. It does not detect page edges, straighten or crop. Each photo becomes one page as you took it, so shoot the page flat and well lit, or trim the result afterwards with Crop PDF.
How is this different from JPG to PDF?
JPG to PDF keeps your images as they are. Scan to PDF is made for photographed paper, with the Document mode clean-up and a camera button on phones.
